Description
This set of 8 Alice's Wonderland cardboard cutouts brings together a wonderfully eccentric collection of characters, including Alice, the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, March Hare, Queen of Hearts, Grinning Cat, Playing Card Soldier and Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Alice stands at the heart of the adventure in her pale blue dress, white lace-trimmed apron and black bow, looking wide-eyed with curiosity. The Mad Hatter raises his teacup with a huge grin beneath his oversized hat, while the fluffy March Hare looks ready for another round of tea. Nearby, the mischievous pink stripey Cat flashes his enormous toothy smile, and the White Rabbit dashes along clutching his pocket watch, looking as though he's terribly late. The fearsome Queen of Hearts commands attention in her magnificent red and black gown, pointing angrily with her heart-topped sceptre in hand. Her loyal Playing Card Soldier stands guard in gleaming red armour, while the comical twins Tweedledee and Tweedledum complete the collection with their matching blue outfits and delightfully grumpy expressions. Every character is bursting with personality, colourful costumes and charming storybook details.
Part of our Alice's Wonderland Characters range, this complete set features original Starstills designs inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. From a curious girl's journey down the rabbit hole to encounters with talking animals, a very unusual tea party and an unpredictable Queen, these much-loved stories are filled with extraordinary characters and delightful nonsense. Bringing together eight character cutouts in one collection, this set creates a magical Wonderland scene that appeals to children and grown-ups alike.
Use the whole set to transform a birthday party venue into a colourful Wonderland adventure, with Alice welcoming guests, the Mad Hatter and March Hare hosting their famous tea party and the Queen of Hearts keeping a watchful eye over proceedings. Arrange the characters around the room to create fantastic photo opportunities, place them beside a themed buffet or cake table, or use them to decorate a Mad Hatter afternoon tea, Halloween celebration or storybook-themed event. They also make a brilliant display for school libraries, classrooms and World Book Day celebrations, giving young readers the chance to meet some of literature's most unforgettable characters. Whether grouped together for a spectacular Wonderland backdrop or positioned throughout the venue as individual decorations, these eight cardboard cutouts bring the magic, mischief and madness of Wonderland to life.
