Following Marvel's grand plan over the past 10 years of releasing an origin superhero movie (or two) per year and culminating in The Avengers, DC Comics have found themselves rather left behind and playing catch up.  However with Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy firmly leaving comic book fans wanting more.  Together with Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel putting Superman back on track following the lacklustre Superman Returns, DC are making strides towards bringing the Justice League to the big screen.  Taking a darker, more adult tone to their Marvel counterparts, the next film to come from the DC Comics camp is Batman V Superman Dawn Of Justice and judging by the trailer (which you can find on the video tab) the tone doesn't look to be getting lighter any time soon..  Directed by Man Of Steel's Zack Snyder (who incidentally is pencilled in to direct the first two Justice League films) we can expect a visual feast as The Caped Crusader takes on the Man Of Steel.
