The 1994 American drama film based on Stephen King’s short story ‘Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption’ follows banker Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) at Shawshank State Prison after he is sentenced to life for the murder of his wife and her lover even though he claims innocence. Over the years, he forms a friendship with Red (Morgan Freeman).
This Double Sided movie poster from the 10th anniversary of the film, when it was re-released in the cinemas, shows an imposing artwork of the main characters’ portraits. Highlighted by a flash of lightning in the centre of the poster is a dramatic image of Andy Dufresne in the rain after his escape.
