Description
Teacup at the ready, this March Hare cardboard cutout shows a scruffy brown hare with tall upright ears, wide goggling eyes and a toothy grin. He holds a dainty patterned cup in one paw and wears a blue bow tie dotted with white, over a frayed and patched cream waistcoat fastened with brown buttons. His shaggy fur spills out everywhere, right down to a pair of large furry feet.
He belongs to the Alice's Wonderland Characters range, an original Starstills design drawing on Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. In the book the March Hare shares a never-ending mad tea party with the Hatter, so he fits naturally into any Wonderland celebration.
Set him beside the cake stand at a Mad Hatter tea party so guests can raise a cup with him in photos, or add him to your Wonderland party decorations for a themed birthday, an afternoon tea or a café window. The matching mini tabletop cutout can sit among the teapots as a centrepiece.
