Description
This set of 3 Alice's Wonderland cardboard cutouts brings together the fearsome Queen of Hearts, a loyal Playing Card Soldier and the mischievous twins Tweedledee and Tweedledum for a wonderfully mad gathering. The Queen of Hearts takes centre stage in a magnificent red and black gown decorated with golden hearts, a jewelled crown perched on her elaborate red hair and a heart-topped sceptre in her hand. With her mouth wide open and finger pointing accusingly, she looks ready to shout her famous command, "Off with their heads!" Beside her stands a Playing Card Soldier dressed as the Ace of Hearts, complete with gleaming red armour, a heart-emblazoned tunic and a tall spear. Completing the set are Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the round-faced twins in matching blue outfits, white collars and knitted caps, both wearing wonderfully grumpy expressions.
Part of our Alice's Wonderland Characters range, this set features original Starstills designs inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, where a curious girl encounters extraordinary characters, talking animals and a world where nonsense rules. From the Queen's outrageous temper to the twins' comical antics, these colourful storybook characters bring plenty of personality to children's parties and grown-up gatherings alike.
Use the whole set to create a spectacular entrance to an Alice in Wonderland birthday party, with the Queen of Hearts commanding attention while her Playing Card Soldier stands guard and Tweedledee and Tweedledum add a touch of mischief. Arrange them around a Mad Hatter tea party, use them as fun photo props for guests or create a royal Wonderland display for a themed afternoon tea or Halloween celebration. They also make a fantastic addition to school libraries, classrooms and World Book Day events, where young readers can meet some of Wonderland's most unforgettable characters. Whether displayed together or placed around the venue, these three cardboard cutouts bring the colourful chaos and playful nonsense of Wonderland to life.
